What Makes Me Different?

With an understanding of many spiritual traditions and teachings as well as psychology and human development, I can help you separate the essential from the nonessential so the heart of your communication shines through.

You want your voice to be clear and resonant, you want your words to be aligned with your intentions, and you want your readers to be able to understand and connect with your project as effectively as possible. My approach is to work in partnership with you so that your writing is fresh and alive as well as clean, elegant, and consistent in style.

I specialize in spiritual literature, self-development literature, memoir, and poetry.

More about me…

Growing up in Oklahoma, my school teacher parents took our family traveling around the country every summer, camping and hiking. From mossy forests and streams to the sculptural displays of desert vistas, from white sand beaches and turbulent cliffside shores to the sparkling clarity of mountain heights, I experienced the earth and her creatures as abundant, generous, and magical. This gave me an enduring sense of faith in life’s process, that it is full of surprises (including dangers, troubles, heartbreaks) but always comes back to balance again.

Eventually I landed in Prescott, AZ in the high desert with its wide open, sunny skies, rocky hills and juniper trees. There I had the extraordinary blessing of meeting my guru, Lee Lozowick, a spiritual teacher in the lineage of Yogi Ramsuratkumar and Swami Papa Ramdas.

My husband and I live in Vancouver, BC with our three kids (two grown and one still at home), two adorable ferrets, and one sweet dog.

I’ve written and published one non-fiction book called Stainless Heart: The Wisdom of Remorse, published by Hohm Press.

I believe that life is fundamentally good, that wisdom and beauty can be found in the most ordinary of things, and that language used well is a gift to humankind.

I look forward to helping you ...
